Seeking Input, What Do You Want To Know On ASP.NET? - My Quarterly Report
I noticed nearly 1/3 of the people came on my website because my article matched certain keywords in Google and half of you might not have found what you needed and left, so if you are kind enough, leave a comment here and maybe I’ll try to blog something more interesting.
But first, let me break down the search queries that were recorded on my site so far this year (Jan – Mar) into several major groups and share it with you. Note, they are in the most requested in descending order, however, they don’t imply that they are the most viewed. For example, Java related search ranks #5, however, my Java articles are one of the most viewed articles.
1. Ajax related (Most requested)
- add ajax to project vs2005

6. Others

· Liming ( I’m flattered J )
· Liming Xu (I’m flattered J )
Obviously, a lot people search for Ajax issues, especially in regards to integrating MS Ajax with other libraries.
The least requested to my surprise is NHibernate, I’d imagine more people would search for NHibernate, but I guess not? Btw, I’m flattered to whom ever was searching for me J
Lately, I’ve been trying to make myself answering questions on the ASP.NET Forum quite a bit. Mainly I want to get an idea of what people are mostly interested in. So far, from what I’ve seen on the forum, most are related to data binding in one form or the other. If you have any questions on ASP.NET, maybe I’ll see you there sometimes. If you see my name and my answer helps, please make sure you mark it as “Answer”. It helps my rankings. J
There are a few articles coming up in the next few weeks on ASP.NET 2.0, (not knowledgeable at all yet on .NET 3.0), they are mostly issues that I’ve experienced and resolved while implementing our Jumptree Project Managmeent Software, hopefully my experience and the code I did can help others with similar requirements.
