A Hidden Feature of Jumptree Project - Code Highlighter
As
Jumptree Project Management is more software oriented, it's quite possible that a lot software developers will be posting their code back and forth throughout tasks and discussions.
To provide support and enable developers to easily post their source code, we
integrated the CodeHighlighter from ActiProSoftware.
In IE, you will get the extra benefit of "folding source code" ability, although in Firefox and other browsers, you will still be able to see the code highlighting just without the "folding" ability.
The languages supported by the Code Highlighter includes
C#, VB.NET, Java, CSS, HTML, Javascript, VBscript, Batchfile, Inifile, Lua, Pascal, Php, Sql, Python, and Xml
To post your code, simply use the following syntax in your posting
//your code goes here
When tasks or dicussions detected any of the supporting languages in any of the postings, you will see a "Show Line Numbers" or "Hide Line Numbers" on the toolbar.
This way, you can optionally turn the line numbers on and off to your liking.
Jumptree Project Management will remember your preference throughout the project.
We hope this will make Jumptree Project much more pleasant for developers to use.
