W.Bloggar for Community Server
I've been using
Windows Live Writerfor my blogs here for awhile and a few days ago, it no longer works. After googling around, I found w.blogger might be the solution.
W.Blogger comes with quite a lot of build-in support for all different types of blogs like livejournal and what not, but community server is not part of it. To install, I followed
Ancora Imparo's Installer Guide and I'm up and running, writing this blog from w.bloggar to you guys.
Here is the main screen
Here is the screen which allows you to select the post categories.
One thing I noticed though, it's missing the insert local image and upload automatically to your server feature. I have to click "Upload", set up FTP and the directory to uploaded it to, only then, it'll insert the the "HTML link" into my editor. I'd prefer a WYSIWYG editor. (I forgot how windows live writer use to do, but definitly felt easier)
I'm not complaining though. With w.bloggar, it makes my publishing much easier comparing to none-at-all. I really think a WYSIWYG editor would help a lot more.
Finally, a screen shot of this blog as I'm writing it.
