Good News Good News. I wish I can move on to Ajax Beta 1

I've complianed in the previous post on how I'm limited to Atlas and not be able to move forward onto the next Ajax Beta.

I read a post today and the ScottGu pointed out that they are considering the possbility of a speical release that would work with /bin deployment without the need to register with GAC.

Since we know that some developers will have hosters that are slower in updating systems, we are also investigating possibly releasing a special ASP.NET AJAX build in the next week or two that will support deployment in the \bin directory of an application.  This will provide a temporary workaround in case your hoster hasn't installed ASP.NET AJAX on the system yet - and will support running in partial trust as well.  Once your hoster installs ASP.NET AJAX, we'll recommend you remove the assembly from the \bin directory and just use the GAC installed one.

Hope this helps,

I really hope they would free up some of their busy schedule and make it possible. Lots of us use hosting companies and espeically our clients who are using hosting companies. Again, while it's dangerous to use beta products in your software, but we believe we could get everyting to work due to our specific requirements. I just like to have the option and we'll decide wheather or not to use it.

Looking forward to it.
